Description of the "Mas du Val d’Eden"
(Farmhouse of the Eden Valley)

In front of the "Lubéron" mountains, overhanging the valley of the Durance, GORDES is one of the most beautiful historical villages of France.

Apart of crowd, in the middle of holm oaks, protected from the dominant winds, you will discover the "Mas du Val d’Eden", superb villa designed in the style of a traditional Provencal farmhouse.

This villa was decorated with tenderness and passion, where refinement and intimacy will make you find the charm of the residences of exception.  A particular care was taken to the landscape garden where ancient olive-trees, pines, lavenders, cypresses and rosery distil their subtle perfumes.

         

The "Mas du Val d’Eden" has 5 double rooms, two of them are directly connected to a sunbathing place with the sight on the "Lubéron" and a Master suite which directly looks on to the gardens (see plans).

4 communicating bathrooms to the bedrooms were decorated with the greatest care and will bring all desired comfort to you.

The living room with a surface of 87 m² include an antique chimney and combines comfort, great capacity, serenity and softness.

         

The interior kitchen, with a surface of 23m², decorated in the largest respect with the formerly residences will offer all modern comfort to you:  cookers with gas semi-professional with 5 fires, 2 furnaces, 1 refrigerator.  It opens on a covered terrace of 60m² equipped with a barbecue enabling you to take your meals outside (see plans).

There is also a superb protected swimming pool in the way of Roman basin of 11mx5m. Beside it, the pool house is a true relaxation and freshness place, haven of peace.

A bowling alley, in the shade of the holm oaks, will receive your parties between friends and family.  4 bicycles are at your disposal in order to visit the neighbourhoods of this superb village.

The house has also:
- a laundry with washing machine and dryer
- a wine cellar with air conditioned

All external furniture is made of wrought iron.
At your disposal there are shelters for cars (2 places) built of dry stones and old tiles.
An aromatic garden will embalm your kitchen of scents of Provence.
The housekeeping is included before your arrival and once in middle of the week.
The cleaning of the swimming pool will be done once per week.
